Our Story
Jim grew up in the Assemblies of God. His road to ministry came after he served in the business world and then as a firefighter paramedic. He attended SEU, and Global University. Melissa grew up in Humble, TX and graduated from SAGU.
Jim and Melissa served as Lead Pastors of Texas City, First Assembly of God for 10 years. During their time at TC First, they saw tremendous growth and experienced great outreach to their community. During the latter part of their time at TC First, they felt God doing a great shift in their hearts for the “local churches” across South Texas and beyond. As their hearts grew in this passion, they felt the shift for them was from leading TC First to serving as US Missionaries in the area of Church Health. Jim and Melissa, along with their two daughters, Kayden and Isabella have faithfully and boldly taken this leap of faith onto their home soil, committed to seeing the local churches across South Texas and beyond become the strong lighthouses their communities are in desperate need of. They had the privilege of being ordained together in 2013. Our hearts cry says this, "It is our desire to be an asset to our fellow churches, ministers and lay leaders in helping them reach a healthy level in the ministry that God has called them to. We look forward to serving you".
Our Mission
To provide tools and resources to help strengthen the local church. We stand ready to assist a church in whatever season it finds itself in. We believe every community needs a healthy church.
